the budget amendment to the membership. Gino Montoya made a motion to
approve the $50 shirt subsidy, which was seconded by Tommy DeGennaro.
The motion carried and was approved. Kathy Clapp will bring order forms
to the next general membership meeting, and the order form will also
be posted on the web site. NCM Caravan – Chris Burkett introduced Tony
and Paula McGowan, who are leading the August 22, 2019 west coast caravan
from California to the National Corvette Museum. Tony and Paula are
members of the Santa Barbara club, and Tony is their activities director.
Tony was the route book editor for the last caravan (they are held every
5 years). The route is changing, and they are expecting to have about
180 to 210 cars from California—leaving from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena—and
it will build to about 400 cars by the time the caravan arrives at the
NCM. When they arrive in our area, they will be staying at the Fiesta
and Sunset Station in Henderson. The following day, they will be going
through the Valley of Fire to St. George, Utah. There are at least 10
people from Hawaii who are shipping their cars to participate in the
caravan. Feel free to email Tony to get on the list. 45th Anniversary

earned the various rockers. (Clarification from the April minutes: It

Ferguson will co-chair the event. Skip relayed a story that at the last
event, there was a 6 year old boy who was too young to do a ride along,
but his older brother was able to participate. He was in tears, so Julie
asked if he wanted to take a ride in a Corvette. He chose her C-7 over
Skip’s ’67, so Julie drove him around the parking area and made his
day! Barb Belak noted that they will be installing her new harness bar
at the next Garage Gang to be held at Pat Russell’s house on June 9th
