Terry Rees had some sad news about one of our members, Greg Whiteman, passed away on February 1st with congestive heart failure. Greg joined our club in November 2012. Greg's wife Liz said, he had talked about LVCA and the members with much love and admiration. She announced that Jan Tucker, who recently fell and broke her arm is doing well, is at home and is receiving phone calls. Our condolences to Rex Wilhoite whose brother Ken recently passed away and for his son, former member, Jeremy who has detached retina conditions in both eyes and after an operation on one eye is at Rex's home recovering. As Denny and Nancy Ledwon were checking out of their hotel on the way home from an Alaskan cruise, Nancy fell and was taken to an emergency room in Seattle where they saw the broken bone but unfortunately also discovered a mass in her chest. She will be soon undergoing more tests next week. Nancy is a two time cancer survivor. Terry asked that we keep the Ledwon and Wilhoite families in our thoughts and prayers. She read a thank-you note from the St. Baldricks Foundation for our $300 contribution collected at the St. Patrick's Day parade in March. Anniversaries this month are: Slim and Tracy Stephens, Don and Agnes Jiran 51-years, Carl and Judy Hastings 50-years, Rich and Carole McSimov 27-years, and Jim and Connie Gentry 14-Years.
