General Membership Meeting - April 14, 2016 - Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Kathy Clapp at 7:30PM at the McDonald Ranch Clubhouse Banquet Room. She thanked everyone for coming tonight. There were 59 members and 3 guests present.

Findlay Chevrolet: Kathy announced that for the 5th year in a row Findley Chevrolet has been named Dealer of the Year. Slim Stephens said Findlay Chevrolet worked hard to win. Everyone worked hard & learned a lot. LVCA is a part of the learning process. Last month Slim kept the $40 coupons instead of offering them for the Raffle. If anyone came to Findley for service, Slim gave them a $40 coupon. Slim will continue to do this. Even with all the hard work done by the dealership, Slim thanks LVCA for helping them achieve Dealer of the Year. If we need anything done, get a hold of Slim so he can make things happen.

Motion to approve the March 10, 2016 minutes:
Lin Hoernke made the motion to approve the minutes as written; Sharron Grodzinsky seconded. Motion passed.

Birthdays for the month of April were read by Lin Hoernke.

Treasure's Report: Connie reported that we are running at a little bit of a deficit due to paying for the room rent in advance. If anyone wants to see the current financial statements, please see Connie to view them. They are always available.

These items were donated since they had outlasted their usefulness to the club. There will be a proposed Bylaw change presented next month in the Vetter & on the Website. It will be voted on in June.
