NCCC Governor: Carl H. has been asked what does NCCC do for LVCA? Not only do we receive the Blue Bars magazine, but we get our insurance through them. Realizing that 80% of the members in NCCC are not into competition, headquarters has decided to make some changes to the Blue Bars. The back half of the magazine will now cover less competition events and more interesting articles on club activities and social events. Not only does our insurance cover sanctioned events, it also is bonding coverage for our officers. NCCC has listened to members complaints and are adjusting their publication and website accordingly.

Racer's Edge Chairman Bob M. stated LVCA was presented a check for $494 for our participation in the Silver State race in September. He presented the last of the trophies for the Racer's Edge Series: Ken R. 1st place for the Nevada Open Road Race; Ken R. 2nd place for the drags; Ken R. 1st place for the MTT autocross; Tom S. 2nd place and Cathy W. for 3rd place. Store: Storekeeper Linda B. reported the store made a lot of money this year. Great Christmas presents would be a black book, the 2008 memory book, men's denim jacket, the club's official polo shirt, a tie, long sleeved bling shirt, earrings or an apron. A new item in the store is a sweatshirt. Also available are belt buckles, key chains, cufflinks, a wall clock, handbags, watches, mouse pad umbrella, toiletry bags and cards.
