| Connie and Jim planned another great road trip to Mt. Charleston. We
met in the parking lot at the Santa Fe Resort to sign in and hold our
driver's meetings. Small groups of corvettes were sent at staggered times,
for safety and road conditions. At the lodge Connie had reserved seating
and parking in the immediate area. Mike and Lynn Rabe drove up from Lake
Havasu City for the day, and thanks to Pat and Nita, they brought Cheryl's
new baseball cap that we left behind at the Thursday LVCA club meeting.
Brunch was served at 11:30am sharp, with five different delicious choices. Afterwards, we took the traditional group photos with Jimmy and Ken as photographers. Both before, during, and after Brunch, Pat and Cathy were busy with their cameras, documenting the event. Carl had a minor battery issue as we were leaving, but one LVCA member came to the rescue with a set of battery cables. Then it was down the mountain...some stopped for the car show in the area, while the rest of us drove back to Las Vegas. A few pic's we took to celebrate the day! Another great LVCA event.
