OKTOBERFEST & 2nd ANNUAL CAR SHOW - Saturday, October 1, 2011

The Meadview Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) will be hosting Oktoberfest 2011, along with its 2nd Annual Car Show & Street Fair on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Meadview, Arizona from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The event will be held at Crow's Nest Restaurant & Lounge and extend all along Meadview Boulevard from Stillwater to Escalante. The festivities will include a Car Show, Parade & Street Fair.

The Car Show is an open event and twelve individual awards will be sponsored by local businesses. And, to add to the day, Meadview Boulevard will be packed with local artisans and businesses displaying their crafts and products.

Meadview is located 2 hours from Las Vegas, Nevada, or 1 hour from Kingman, Arizona. Simply follow Pierce Ferry Road from either Highway 93 (at Mile Post 42 and through Dolan Springs) or from the Stockton Hill - Pierce Ferry Road junction to Mile Post 38 on Pierce Ferry Road to Meadview Boulevard. This dynamic community offers everything for the traveler. Meadview has a full service market with gas, diesel and propane and has four motel-lodging choices, two RV Parks and four Vacation Home Rentals. Two full service restaurants serve the community with two local bars.

Additional festivities include a parade starting at 10:00 am featuring local organizations and businesses. Vehicles of all varieties will be on colorful display, and there will even be a line-up of Ugly Trucks and Cars. An authentic petting zoo will be set up for children, as well as games and activities for them all day to make a real family outing. A live DJ will play your favorite tunes, and raffle winners will be announced throughout the event. Major raffle prizes include a 32" flat screen TV and a Green Valley Ranch Casino Package.
