We had a reasonable turn out for the 10/17 UNLV engineering car show, considering this was their first inaugaral car show. We had 14 corvette club cars with 4 last minute cancellations. The pre-registration process worked smoothly and we handed them a check for $410.00. Two of our members checked in at the gate and donated another $70.00. Ken Ackeret and new member Paul Madill each won drawing prizes and Tommy Degennaro was awarded second place in the classic car event. A good time was had by all at the first UNLV car show and will be looking forward to a greater show next year. Ken Kroeger |
