Welcome everyone to my President’s run, I am thrilled and

Honored to have each and every one of you to join me on this trip.

And to not know where or what your going to be doing. I thank you for

Respecting this (or maybe it’s being just as crazy as myself) I wanted it to have an element of excitement and now that time is here! There has been a lot of fun planning this event and I am sorry if I caused anyone anxiety by not disclosing the events until now, I just hope you are as excited as I am. As most of you know my husband Jerry is an avid team roper and has been doing this as a hobby for many years. When I got involved with the Corvette Club there has been many conflicts with his team roping competitions and my Corvetting. When the time came for me to plan the run Jerry and I went to a couple of places planning for this week end and nothing was really falling into place but I was forcing it to work. Then the answer came in a most unlikely way, there was another conflict going to happen on this week end and it was major. A good friend of ours from Canada passed away last year and he loved team roping more than anyone I knew of. He & his wife Margaret have a second home in Casa Grande to where they came every winter and he roped till his heart was content. He is a very important person to George Aros, and he has honored our friend by putting on now a 2^nd Annual Ivan Muxlow Roping in Casa Grande. When Jerry & I found out that this was going to conflict with the Presidents run we were both upset. Then I said to Jerry well I can always plan the run around this and Jerry did not believe me he said “yeah right Roping and Corvettes I don’t think so”. Jerry should know better then to question me when I already had the possibility thinking in place. This challenged me some what but I did not want Jerry to be sad that he would have to miss such an important Roping that is honoring our friend, I know he would have went with me where ever we would have went for the President’s run and I am happy that I was able to make this week end work out for him and for myself. I hope that you will all enjoy this week end with us and hope that you will take home some good memories and maybe have learned a little about just what it is that Jerry loves to do just as much as I love doing my Corvette thing.

This weekend is geared to have a lot of fun, relax and hopefully make some new memories and maybe even some new friends.
